In an attempt to reduce the number of employees falling for phishing attempts on campus and to raise general network security awareness, LSUA IET Services now requires that all employees complete the Network Security Awareness e-training by December 31st of each calendar year.

Upon completion of the Network Security Awareness e-training, you will receive an automated email with your certificate of completion attached as a PDF.

Your certificate of completion must be sent to with the subject line “FIRST NAME LAST NAME – NSA Training” or you can print your certificate and send via campus mail to IET Services. In addition, we recommend that you save and/or print your certificate for your records.

The Network Security Awareness training takes approximately 30-45 minutes. In this training, you will learn how to define phishing, how to recognize the common types of phishing attacks, how to identify phishing emails, and how to prevent becoming a victim of phishing attempts.
